After a brief hiatus, we will be hosting a VERY TIMELY Roundtable on December 21, 2022 at 12:30 pm CST. Our speaker will be Professor Nancy Rapoport, UNLV Distinguished Professor; Garman Turner Gordon Professor of Law, Boyd School of Law; and Affiliate Professor of Business Law and Ethics, Lee Business School at the university of Nevada Las Vegas. For those of you who have heard Professor Rapoport speak, you know that she is a captivating (and entertaining) speaker on ethics in the world of bankruptcy. She will be focusing on your responsibilities as an attorney in dealing with clients virtually (both debtors and creditors) and participating in hearings and meetings of creditors on Zoom.
As most of you that are Academy members know, if you are a member of the Academy, we will be seeking CLE approval of this program. To get the CLE you will need to be on time and stay throughout the program. If you are an Academy member, you can get more information on that from Regina Logsdon at the Academy website.
The date and time are a little out of our normal pattern, but we wanted to secure Professor Rapoport and this was the best date and time.
