Fed Raises Rates Again

The Federal Reserve announced another increase of 0.25 percentage points to the benchmark federal funds rate. With that change, the prime rate will now increase from 8.00% to 8.25%. The new rate will not apply to plans confirmed from this morning's docket, but it will otherwise apply immediately.


The next rate announcement is scheduled for June 14, 2023.
